Though views toward gender equality have become more progressive over the years, gender

stratification persists in the labor market. First, identify and describe one statistic illustrating

gender stratification in the labor market. Second, using examples from two readings (beyond

Macionis 2015), provide in detail how gender stratification is reflected on two of the following

levels: individual, interactional, or institutional (Risman 1998).
