As you progress through the research/dissertation, the university developed resources in the Dissertation Center are essential. The purpose of this assignment is to focus on two of these resources (PPT Concept Paper presentation and the Doctoral Candidacy Milestone Document Resources); and to look at the different expectations based on the research approach used.
Use the university Library and research qualitative and quantitative research designs. While these two approaches have many similarities, there are some important differences in the way each should be treated. In an APA style document with citations compare and contrast the expectations for each approach as presented in the PPT Concept Paper Template. You may use other references to help clarify the similarities and the differences.
Then, select either quantitative or qualitative approach; for that approach document and discuss the Best Practices suggestions.
