To ensure the ethical rights of a person are observed and taken into consideration we must ensure we adhere to the Principles of the Belmont Report,i.e. respect, beneficence and justice.
Class, we have discussed this study in detail. I would like to take one of these principles and discuss how specifically this was adhered to. Respect means that a person has the right to decide for themselves whether or not to participate in the research project. What specific actions taken by the researchers ensured that each participant in the research were given the opportunity to decide without coercion?
