Details:The Modern Age is characterized by a number of themes running throughout the course text and additional readings. Select one of the following themes of modernity, or one of your choice with your instructor’s approval, and write a thesis driven research paper: Nationalism Using specific examples consider the following questions and address them in your paper: What is it about your subject that makes it uniquely modern? How is this subject different to what came before the Modern Age? How did the evolution of this subject in the Modern Age affect the different civilizations of the world? Make sure your paper includes the following elements: Identify the specific theme of modernity. Summarize how that theme runs through the time frame of this course. Introduce specific examples that define the theme. Provide an analysis of each example, including referencing primary and secondary sources to support your analysis. Evaluate the importance of this theme to the modern world. The paper must be eight to ten pages in length (excluding the title and reference pages) and formatted according to APA style. You must use at least six scholarly resources, at least three of which can be found in the Ashford Online Library, to support your claims and subclaims. To further help you in your research for the Final Paper, it is recommended that you view the Resources for Potential Research document. Cite your resources in text and on the reference page. Writing the Final Paper The Final Paper: Must be eight to ten double-spaced pages in length, and formatted according to APA style as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center. Must include a title page with the following: Title of paper Student’s name Course name and number Instructor’s name Date submitted Must begin with an introductory paragraph that has a succinct thesis statement. Must address the topic of the paper with critical thought. Must end with a conclusion that reaffirms your thesis. Must use at least six scholarly resources, including a minimum of three from the Ashford Online Library. Must document all sources in APA style, as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center. Must include a separate reference page, formatted according to APA style as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center.
