English Homework: The case of Gilgamesh, Jonathan Swift & Dante

000 word minimum essay that analyzes the concept of the individual seen in each of our readings. For example, Gilgamesh seems to treat people as objects, there only to serve his own needs and desires. Whitman says that he is the speaker of the poem, yet he claims that his voice is also the vehicle through which all can speak. Jonathan Swift showed us the lot of the well-born and fortunate individual and the lot of the Irish poor. Dante  (of dantes inferno)offered us a spectrum of the human condition and human weaknesses.
