- Explain each company’s electrical generation fuel mix. Explain if their electricity is generated from all nonrenewable sources or a hybrid of both renewable and nonrenewable sources. How do their nonrenewable energy sources produce electricity?
- Discuss each company’s customer base. Discuss the amount of generation capacity each company manages to meet customer demand. Explain capacity reserves and why it is necessary to have reserved electricity capacity.
- Explain major barriers faced by the companies and explain how they may plan to overcome those challenges.
- Between your chosen organizations, compare the costs of producing electricity using nonrenewable resources.
- Differentiate between the management requirements for each power producer. Explain the advantages and disadvantages of managing one over the other.
