You will address the current and evolving healthcare setting from a nursing perspective. You must present your topic in a comprehensive, evidence-based format. References must be from peer-reviewed journals and published within the past 5 years. PLEASE state your intent early – as you make a clear statement of a problem or issue, in both your presentation and your paper. Paper must be a minimum of 2 pages, APA format and double-spaced. Statement of Purpose
Dis-empowerment among nurses result from variables that are specific to the individual or a result of the work environment that nurses are placed in such as bullying. This dis-empowerment can lead to stress on the part of the nurses resulting in poor performance, isolation, and resignation. However, useful strategies can be learned by the individual to improve self-esteem. At the workplace, the nurses in close cooperation with the healthcare team, can enhance the working conditions and self satisfaction ultimately improving care provided to patients.
