The products that consumers tend to buy in any industry are constantly evolving, changing and being improved. This is particularly true in the beverage industry. Fads constantly come and go and trends tend to stay around for a shorter time than in most other industries. The ability to identify trends and offer products and services that are consistent with these trends is critical for an operator to be successful.
One of the best sources for information on trends is the myriad of food and beverage industry publications. One of the best beverage industry publications is Cheers Magazine.
