Details:Using the chapters on nationalism, propaganda, and any others you see fit in collaboration with Hedges’ “War is a Force that Gives us Meaning” and at least two sources that are not assigned for this class, respond to the following three writing prompts: 1.According to the texts how does preparing for and engaging in war impact a society’s culture? In response to this, you will want to describe the specific influences war plays on a society. 2.Identify a war of your choice and compare the cultural affects you have discussed to the history of that war. In response to this section you will want to research a war and briefly describe the war then in more depth describe the impacts it had on the culture. This section will require outside sources 3.Are the cultural impacts described in the texts consistent with those reflected in the war you reviewed?
