There are numerous myths surrounding the achievement gap.  In order to create strong communities that support learning growth, we must dispel myths and generate a clear focus for creating systems and protocols that address the real issue and obstacles inhibiting progress.  For this discussion, read the blog “We Must Change the Narrative About Public Education: Guest Blog by Diane Ravitch.”  Describe your reflection on Ravitch’s commentary.  Do you agree with her commentary?  Why, or why not?
